Particles of the Blessed Sacrament The Eternal, Life-Giving, GOLD DUST

The Particles of the
Blessed  Sacrament
The Eternal, Loving, Life-Giving
by the Very Rev. Fr. Alphonsus Maria Duran,MJ
Some portions below are quoted or paraphrased  from Fr. Duran's phamphlet.

Eucharistic Benediction at Fatima Shrine, Portugal

Fr. Maria Duran in the pamphlet Particles of the Blessed Sacrament the Eternal life giving Gold dust wrote that he had a non-catholic friend who told him that: “You Catholics must no longer believe in the real presence of Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament” He said that he assured him that we did and his friend retorted back: “Then you have really grown callous in the way you handle your Eucharistic Services.”

“My grandfather was a jeweler and some of my other relatives are also jewelers. I grew up amid the work of jewelers and their jewels.  As we all know, jewels are very precious and costly. Even their dust is carefully saved by the jeweler.

Jewelers calculate that when they carve a ring or a pin, ten percent of the precious metal used, gold for example, is lost in dust. That has to be calculated in the price and the weigh of the jewelery. Jewelers carve their jewels on special metal plates which they clean with a very fine brush in order to save the dust.

One of my cousin jewelers told me that they even wear an overall which is cleaned by a special procedure to save the dust or particles of precious metal that have collected on the clothing. Each particle is carefully saved and used.

This reminds me of the care that the priest who has faith in the presence of Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament should have. If such precious care is taken of the jewels of this world, how much more care should be taken of the Body of Christ since our faith tells us that He is really and totally present in each particle of the Most Blessed Sacrament.”

Fr. Duran felt he was referring to those people who disregard the laws of the church and her doctrines making up their own laws and regulations to do as they please. Unfortunately, today there are many and they are more vocal making themselves heard. Giving the wrong impressions and contaminate the faith of others in different degrees.

Despite these people the Church herself has always shown her faith and respect in all her rules and laws given for the care of the most Blessed Sacrament these laws are not what some would say scrupulosity but a matter of detail in love.

Pope Francis on Corpus Christi stated that:

"Communicated in the Eucharist is the Lord’s love for us: such a great love that He nourishes us with himself; a gratuitous love, always at the disposition of every hungry person and needy of regenerating his strength. To live the experience of faith means to let oneself be nourished by the Lord and to build one’s existence not on material goods, but on the reality that does not perish: the gifts of God, His Word and His Body." Pope Francis Corpus Christi 2014

Let us listen to the words of  St. Cyril of Jerusalem
“Tell me if someone gave you some grains of gold would you not hold them with all carefulness lest you might lose some of them and thereby suffer a loss? Will you not, therefore be much more careful in keeping watch over what is more precious than gold or gems so that not a particle will escape you? (ca. A.D. 315 A.D. 386 Mystagogic Catecheses)

 Each Particle is Precious Indeed

The Eucharistic presence of Christ begins at the moment of the consecration and endures as long as the Eucharistic species subsist. Christ is present  whole and entire in each of the species and whole and entire in each of their parts, In such a way that the breaking of the bread does not divide Christ.
(Catechism of the Catholic Church from the second Vatican Council promulgated by Pope John Paul II, 1377, cf. Council of trent: DS1641.) eucharist Pope Francis
It is my firm belief that if Catholics do not recover the respect for the Holy Eucharist we are fast preparing our own punishment as pictured in the 3rd Secret of Fatima revealed in 2000.

Remember that St Paul said that whoever eats the bread and drinks the cup of the Lord unworthily will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord; and any one who eats and drinks without discerning the body, eats and drinks judgment on himself (See 1 Corinthians 11:27, 29).

This can also be applied to all those sacrilegious communions made by those receiving in mortal sin as well as for Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist who do not take care to carry Our Lord in a dignified manner and make sure that there are no particles remaining in their pyx so that Jesus is not carried into restrooms or other unspeakable places!

Eucharistic Ministers You are responsible for every lost particle! And the weight of your commission also falls upon your pastor and  your bishops who are the ordinary ministers of the Eucharist! They will have to account to God for you!

Pope Francis gives Benediction

On April 23, 2004, Cardinal Francis Arinze, prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Sacraments, presented, in the Vatican, a 70-page instruction entitled “Redemptionis Sacramentum”, on “certain matters to be observed or to be avoided regarding the Most Holy Eucharist.” In his encyclical letter “Eucharistia de Ecclesia,” published in 2003, Pope John Paul II announced this document, which is aimed at putting an end to abuses against the Eucharist, “which have been a source of suffering for many.” “No one is permitted to undervalue the mystery entrusted to our hands,” the Holy Father added. Here are some important excerpts from this new instruction: Read more...

Did you know that A Eucharistic Miracle in 1263 Paved the Way for the Institution of Corpus Christi?

The appearance of Corpus Christi as a feast in the Christian calendar was primarily due to the petitions of the thirteenth-century Augustinian nun St. Juliana of Liège. From her early youth St. Juliana had a veneration for the Blessed Sacrament, and always longed for a special feast in its honor. This desire is said to have been increased by a vision of the Church under the appearance of the full moon having one dark spot, which signified the absence of such a solemnity. In 1208 she reported her first vision of Christ in which she was instructed to plead for the institution of the feast of Corpus Christi. The vision was repeated for the next 20 years but she kept it a secret. When she eventually relayed it to her confessor, he relayed it to the bishop.

St. Juliana also petitioned the learned Dominican Hugh of St-Cher, Jacques Pantaléon (Archdeacon of Liège who later became Pope Urban IV and Robert de Thorete, Bishop of Liège. At that time bishops could order feasts in their dioceses, so in 1246 Bishop Robert convened a synod and ordered a celebration of Corpus Christi to be held each year thereafter in the diocese of Liège

Twenty Years later, in 1263, a German priest, Peter of Prague, stopped at Bolsena while on a pilgrimage to Rome. He is described as being a pious priest, but one who found it difficult to believe that Christ was actually present in the consecrated Host. While celebrating Holy Mass above the tomb of St. Christina he had barely spoken the words of Consecration when blood started to seep from the consecrated Host and trickle over his hands onto the altar and the corporal. The priest was shocked and confused. At first he attempted to hide the blood, but then he interrupted the Mass and asked to be taken to the neighboring city of Orvieto, the city where Pope Ur ban IV was then residing.

The Pope listened to the priest's account and absolved him. He then sent emissaries for an immediate investigation. When all the facts were ascertained, he ordered the Bishop of the diocese to bring to Orvieto the Host and the linen cloth bearing the stains of blood. With archbishops, cardinals and other Church dignitaries in attendance, the Pope met the procession and, amid great pomp, had the relics placed in the cathedral. The linen corporal bearing the spots of blood is still reverently enshrined and exhibited in the Cathedral of Orvieto.

It is said that Pope Urban IV was prompted by this miracle to commission St. Thomas Aquinas to compose the Proper for a Mass and an Office honoring the Holy Eucharist as the Body of Christ. One year after the miracle, in August of 1264, Pope Urban IV introduced the saint's composition, and by means of a papal bull instituted the feast of Corpus Christi when he issued the papal bull Transiturus in which the feast of Corpus Christi, i.e. the feast of Body of Christ was declared a feast throughout the entire Latin Rite. It is said to be the very first papally sanctioned universal feast in the history of the Latin Rite. The feast is celebrated on the Thursday after Trinity Sunday.

Juliana was canonized in 1869 by Pius IX.  In August of 1964, on the 700th anniversary of the institution of the feast of Corpus Christi, Pope Paul VI celebrated Holy Mass at the altar where the holy corporal is kept in its golden shrine in the Cathedral of Orvieto. Pope John Paul II, mentioned St. Juliana in a document on the 750th anniversary of the Feast of Corpus Christi. Her feast day is April 7.

After visiting the Cathedral of Orvieto, many pilgrims journey to St. Christina's Church in Bolsena to see for themselves the place where the miracle occurred. From the north aisle of the church one can enter the Chapel of the Miracle, where the stains on the paved floor are said to have been made by the blood from the miraculous Host. The altar of the miracle, which is surmounted by a 9th- century canopy, is now situated in the grotto of St. Christina.

How many Catholics, even priests continue to doubt or even worse have accepted Protestant teaching that disregards the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist? They deny the constant teachings of the church from the Council of Trent to the Second Vatican Council and the New Catechism of the Catholic Church?

The Eucharistic presence of Christ begins at the moment of the consecration and endures as long as the Eucharistic species subsist. Christ is present  whole and entire in each of the species and whole and entire in each of their parts, In such a way that the breaking of the bread does not divide Christ.

  Remember Our Lords Own Words

Matthew Chapter 26
While they were eating, Jesus took some bread, and after a blessing, He broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, "Take, eat; this is My body." And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, saying,  "Drink from it, all of you; for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins.…

John Chapter 6
Then Jesus said to them: Amen, amen I say unto you: Except you eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, you shall not have life in you.  He that eats my flesh, and drinks my blood, hath everlasting life: and I will raise him up in the last day. He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. "As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats Me, he also will live because of Me. "This is the bread which came down out of heaven; not as the fathers ate and died; he who eats this bread will live forever."… From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.

So Jesus said to the twelve, "You do not want to go away also, do you?" Simon Peter answered Him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have words of eternal life.

......and St. Paul
1 Corinthians 11
For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until He comes. Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord.

For Catholics this is the sacrilige of reciving Holy Communion in a state of Mortal Sin

My thoughts....I believe that we are blinded and in a spiritual darkness  because the Message of Fatima was ignored.   Particularly the message of the Angel in 1916 and the need for Eucharistic Reparation.  The devil sent many false illusions and apparitions to keep us running all over looking for signs and wonders Keeping us busy so we do not examine ourselves to stop sinning and offending the Lord. Fatima Begins and will end over the Eucharist. The Angel taught reparation to the Children not for their day but for ours.
God's Wrath against Sin
Romans1:24-27…Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them. For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural,…and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error.…

We need to gather in the Church to make reparation for bad Catholics and await the time appointed by God for the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart. Those responsible  in the Church need to wake up from their slumber and do all they can to re catechize her members to a renewed love and respect for the Greatest Gift God has given us in the church. Our eternity and the the destiny of the world depend on what we Catholics do today.

Prayer the Angel taught the Shepherds

"O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I adore You profoundly, and I offer You the Most Precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifference's by which He is offended. And by the infinite merits of His most Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg the conversion of poor sinners."

Admonitions of the Angel

Pray, pray!

You must offer your prayers and sacrifices to God, the Most High.

In every way you can offer sacrifice to God in reparation for the sins by which He is offended, and in supplication for sinners.

Above all, bear and accept with patience the sufferings God will send you.

Eat and drink the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ terribly outraged by the ingratitude of men. Offer reparation for their sakes and console God.
