Let Us Meditate on the approved Marian Apparitions
in the light given to us through the Message of Fatima!

Jesus told his apostles that he had many things to tell them yet but they could not bear it now. When he would send the spirit of truth the Spirit would enlighten them and call to their minds all that he had taught them while he was with them.  A good example of how God has taught the church over time can be seen in the lives of two great Marian saints who promoted Total Consecration to her.  SAINT MAXIMILIAN KOLBE (1894-1941) and ST. Louis-Marie Grignion de MONTFORT (1673-1716).  The later was given a much deeper insight into the relationship of Our Lady with the Blessed Trinity than his predecessor, St. Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort, who was the first to advocate total consecration to her. The teaching of both disciples of our Lady under went scrutiny by church authorities of their time.  The sanctity of their lives gave witness to their words. Having said that the church would not have accepted what St Maxilmillian taught in the early 1900s during the time of St. Louis de Montfort early 1700s. The light of heaven is so intense we must be spoon feed by the Holy Spirit. Even now the teachings of St Maximilian on Our Lady’s spousal relationship with the Holy Spirit is so sublime the light blinds us. With all of this in mind let us consider the following quotations from an article by -Marian T. Horvat, Ph.D

Our Lady of Good Success and
Our Lady of Fatima
Prophecies for our Day

Marian Horvart writes: “It seems to me that gazing on the countenance of Our Lady of Fatima, we see Our Lady of the Chastisement. Her maternal gaze looks down with a great mercy, but also a profound sadness, on a suffering humanity, an agonizing mankind. Lucia recounts that by the 3rd apparition, Our Lady had begun to reveal the sadness in her soul. In the last apparition, Lucia recounted, with an even sadder expression, She said, 'Let them offend Our Lord no more, for He is already much offended.' In the face, of Our Lady of

 Fatima we see Our Lady as the

Prophet of the Chastisement

 A prophet is a person with a message for the future, an intercessor with Heaven who begs man's cooperation with grace. When God sent Prophets in the Old Testament it was to remind men to come back to the truth. In the 20th century Our Lord has sent His Mother, the Queen of Prophets: "Go to earth and destroy heresies." The Fathers of the Church have written Our Lady is the hammer of heresies. If you study message of Our Lady of Fatima, you will find the call for conversion and prayer - especially the Rosary - but also many warnings against the heresies and errors of our times.

Fatima and Quito:
 Messages that Confirm
each other

Our Lady at Quito in Ecuador under the title of Our Lady of Good success confirms these warnings of Fatima almost 300 years before in a very descriptive and open way to the humble Conceptionist sister Mother Marianana.
Our Lady told her that in our lamentable times, heresies would abound, the corruption of manners and customs would be almost complete and the light of the Faith would be nearly extinguished. To atone for the many blasphemies and abuses and to hasten the day of the triumphant restoration, this 17th-century religious was asked to become an expiatory victim for our times. Thus, in a special way, the vocation of Mother Mariana links her to the crisis in the Church and society that few would deny that we are witnessing today. In 1582, when Mother Mariana was praying before the Blessed Sacrament, for the first time she was given to see the heresy, blasphemy and impurity that would inundate the world as punishment in the 20th century. Our Lady asked her: “My daughter, will you sacrifice yourself for the people of this time?” Mother Mariana replied, 'I am willing.' From the violence of the shock of previewing the horrors of our day, Mother Mariana fell dead. Historic and documented evidence record that this holy religious truly died in 1582 and resurrected. Before the divine tribunal, she was given the choice to remain in heaven or return to suffer in the world. Following the example of Our Lady, who left the glories of heaven to protect her children during those difficult first years of the fledgling Church, Mother Mariana chose to return to life to expiate for the great sins of our times.” Marian T. Horvat,Phd.

Let us end with comments from the
Servant of God Fr. John Hardon S.J.

Servant of God Fr. John Anthony Hardon   on the Restoration of Family Life

Family life can only be restored in countries like ours only by Catholic families living up to the teachings of Christ and His Church. This means two things. First: Ordinary Catholic families cannot survive. They must be extra-ordinary families. They must be what I do not hesitate to call heroic Catholic families.
Ordinary Catholic families are no match for the devil as he uses the media of communication to secularize and desacralize modern society. No less than ordinary individual Catholics can survive, so ordinary Catholic families cannot survive. They have no choice. They must either be holy -- which means sanctified -- or they will disappear. The only Catholic families that will remain alive and thriving by the year 2000 are the families of martyrs. Father, mother and children must he willing to die for their God-given convictions.
Back in the second century, the Fathers of the Church scoffed at her persecutors who were trying to crush Christianity by fire and sword. The persecutors were told. “The blood of martyrs is the seed of Christians.”
What the world most needs today is families of martyrs, who will reproduce themselves in spirit in spite of the diabolical hatred against family life by the enemies of Christ and His Church in our day.

VATICAN CITY, AUG. 30, 2011 (Zenit.org).- Benedict XVI appointed Cardinal Jozef Tomko to be his special envoy at the celebrations marking the 600th anniversary of the Eucharistic miracle of Ludbreg in Croatia. Cardinal Tomko, retired prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, will represent the Pope at the events Sept. 4 in the Croatian Diocese of Varazdin. The 87-year-old cardinal is a native of Slovakia. In a Latin-language letter to Cardinal Tomko published Saturday by the Vatican, Benedict XVI reminded that "without the Eucharist we cannot be true Christians and the Church cannot be built up for the salvation of men."       The Story Of Ludbreg!
In 1411 at Ludbreg, in the chapel of the Count Batthyany’s castle, a priest was celebrating Mass. During the consecration of the wine, the priest doubted the truth of transubstantiation, and the wine in the chalice turned into Blood. Not knowing what to do, the priest embedded this relic in the wall behind the main altar. The workman who did the job was sworn to silence. The priest also kept it secret and revealed it only at the time of his death. After the priest’s revelation, news quickly spread and people started coming on pilgrimage to Ludbreg. The Holy See later had the relic of the miracle brought to Rome, where it remained for several years. The people of Ludbreg and the surrounding area, however, continued to make pilgrimages to the castle chapel. In the early 1500s, during the pontificate of Pope Julius II, a commission was convened in Ludbreg to investigate the facts connected with Eucharistic miracle. Many people testified they had received marvelous cures while praying in it's presence.

On April 14, 1513, Pope Leo X published a Bull permitting veneration of the holy relic which he himself had carried in procession several times through the streets of Rome. The relic was later returned to Croatia. n the 18th century, northern Croatia was ravaged by the plague. The people turned to God to call upon His help, and the Croatian Parliament did the same. During the session held on December 15, 1739 in the city of Varazdin, they vowed to build a chapel at Ludbreg in honor of the miracle if the plague ended. The plague was averted, but the promised vow was only fulfilled in 1994, when democracy was restored in Croatia. In 2005 in the votive chapel, the artist Marijan Jakubin painted a large fresco of the Last Supper in which Croatian saints and blesseds were drawn in place of the Apostles. St. John was replaced with Blessed Ivan Merz, who was included among the 18 most important Eucharistic saints in the Church’s history during the Synod of Bishops held in Rome in 2005. In the painting, Christ is holding in His hand a monstrance containing the relic of the Eucharistic miracle......See: The Real Presence Association: and Eucharistic Miracle of Ludbreg

The Beatification of Pope John Paul II

I received an email update from Inside the Vatican with a report from Robert Moynihan on the preparations for John Paul II's beatification in the final stages: The greatest fear now is the weather  if there is rain, everything about this historic beatification, which is shutting down all auto traffic in the entire area around St. Peter's Square starting on Saturday at one o'clock in the afternoon, will grow more complicated. At a final Vatican Press Conference regarding the beatification this morning, Father Federico Lombardi, S.J., told journalists that there are no official previsions for how many people will be present when the Mass begins

largest crowds since his funeral in 2005- via Reuters

Hundreds of thousands of pilgrims who revered and loved Pope John Paul II and wish to be present at the moment of his beatification on Sunday morning are still expected to congregate in front of Piazza San Pietro throughout Saturday night, waiting patiently -- even in the rain -- until the entrances to the piazza open at 5:30 in the morning. The Mass will begin at 10 am. Pope Benendict XVI is expected to arrive at 9:55 am.

Current published estimates say Roman authorities expect some 300,000 people, but whispered rumors are circulating that the number may be 500,000, or even 1 million. If such numbers do choose to attend the beatification, in spite of possible rain, it will be a dramatic testimony to the power of the message and spiritual vision of Pope John Paul II, six years after his death on April 2, 2005.

(Zenit.org).-  During a brief ceremony Friday morning in the Vatican Grottos, Pope John Paul II's tomb was opened and the wood coffin containing his body was extracted. Jesuit Father Federico, the director of the Vatican press office, reported today in a press conference that the procedures to open the tomb began early in the morning, and at 9 a.m. the coffin was moved to a spot in front of the tomb of St. Peter.

Fr. Frederico reported that the exterior wood coffin "is in a good state of preservation, even though showing signs of the passage of time."  The coffin was transported the short distance to where it will remain until Sunday. During the transportation of the coffin, which was covered with a cloth embroidered in gold, the litanies were sung. At the end of the 15-minute ceremony, Cardinal Bertone offered a short prayer. On Sunday, the coffin will be transferred to the main altar basilica, where it will remain for the beatification ceremony and for public veneration until 5am on Monday morning. The final the placement of the coffin under the altar of the Chapel of St. Sebastian will most likely take place May 2 after the basilica closes...  More Photos

Pope John Paul II's  1987 Farewell Address to the United States at the end of Pastoral Visit to our Country -Detroit

Pope John Paul II speaks in Hamtramck during a 1987 visit to
metro Detroit, Cardinal Edmund C. Szoka, then archbishop
of Detroit, at right.  From Archdiocese Detroit Web Site
As I go, I take with me vivid memories of a dynamic nation, a warm and welcoming people, a Church abundantly blessed with a rich blend of cultural traditions. I depart with admiration for the ecumenical spirit that breathes strongly throughout this land, for the genuine enthusiasm of your young people, and for the hopeful aspirations of your most recent immigrants. I take with me an unforgettable memory of a country that God has richly blessed from the beginning until nowAmerica the beautiful! So you sing in one of your national songs.

Yes, America, you are beautiful indeed, and blessed in so many ways:
- in your majestic mountains and fertile plains;
- in the goodness and sacrifice hidden in your teeming cities and expanding suburbs;
- in your genius for invention and for splendid progress;
- in the power that you use for service and in the wealth that you share with others;
- in what you give to your own, and in what you do for others beyond your borders;
- in how you serve, and in how you keep alive the flame of hope in many hearts;
- in your quest for excellence and in your desire to right all wrongs.
Yes, America, all this belongs to you. But your greatest beauty and your richest blessing is found in the human person: in each man, woman and child, in every immigrant, in every native-born son and daughter.

Michigan Catholic Article

If you want equal justice for all, and true freedom and lasting peace, then, America, defend life!

America, your deepest identity and truest character as a nation is revealed in the position you take towards the human person. The ultimate test of your greatness in the way you treat every human being, but especially the weakest and most defenceless ones. The best traditions of your land presume respect for those who cannot defend themselves. All the great causes that are yours today will have meaning only to the extent that you guarantee the right to life and protect the human person:
- feeding the poor and welcoming refugees;
- reinforcing the social fabric of this nation;
- promoting the true advancement of women;
- securing the rights of minorities;
- pursuing disarmament, while guaranteeing legitimate defence; all this will succeed only if respect for life and its protection by the law is granted to every human being from conception until natural death.” Excerpts from 1987 Farewell speech in Detroit

Pope John Paul while in America carried the pro-life banner proudly.  He has urged bishops and lay Catholics to fight abortion and euthanasia, saying the “slaughter of the innocents” must be stopped.

“It’s going to be several hundred years before the Church really takes on board the breadth and depth of the explication of the Gospel, by John Paul II and in that sense we’re going to be thinking, and arguing, about him for hundreds of years.”  Mr Weigel said that six years after the pope’s death his connection with young people continued to bear fruit in many ways: in priesthood vocations over the last decade, in women’s religious orders inspired by Pope John Paul and in renewal movements. He further stated that John Paul II was a pivotal figure in the collapse of European Communism, and a great Christian witness of the last half of the twentieth century. The latter explains the former, which is itself something deeply significant for understanding the cultural dynamics of history."
George Weigel, author of the papal biographies

 Prayer for the Canonization of John Paul II

O Blessed Trinity,
We thank you for having graced the Church with Pope John Paul II
and for allowing the tenderness of your Fatherly care,
the glory of the cross of Christ,
and the splendor of the Holy Spirit, to shine through him.
Trusting fully in Your infinite mercy
and in the maternal intercession of Mary,
he has given us a living image of Jesus the Good Shepherd,
and has shown us that holiness is the necessary measure
of ordinary Christian life
and is the way of achieving eternal communion with you.
Grant us, by his intercession, and according to your will,
the graces we implore,
hoping that he will soon be numbered among your saints. Amen.

"ITE AD JOSEPH!" -"GO TO JOSEPH! "- St.Theresa of Avilia

Did You know that St. Joseph was also present at the last Apparition of Fatima in October during the Miracle of the Sun? The children saw him Blessing the world with the Child Jesus in his arms while the crowd beheld the sun spinning towards the earth.

Sr. Lucia describes what she beheld during the Miracle of the Sun:
 "Our Lady having disappeared in the immensity of the firmament, we saw, beside the sun, Saint Joseph with the Child Jesus and Our Lady clothed in white with a blue mantle. Saint Joseph and the Child Jesus seemed to bless the world with gestures which they made with their hands in the form of a cross.

Soon after, that apparition having ceased, I saw Our Lord and Our Lady, Who gave me the impression of being Our Lady of Sorrows. Our Lord seemed to bless the world in the same manner as Saint Joseph. That apparition disappeared and it seemed to me that I saw Our Lady again, this time as Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

These three visions taken separately in meditation have their own messages for us that will have to be taken up in some future post. All the visions taken together are connected to the dominant message of Fatima: the Holy Rosary and the brown Scapular.   Our Lady asked that the Rosary be prayed in all six of her apparitions at Fatima. Even saying that Francisco before he will be taken to Heaven that "he must first say many Rosaries."  The three visions during the miracle of the sun reflect the mysteries of the Holy Rosary at that time. The Luminous Mysteries were not yet given to the church. If we follow her request: Through the Rosary and the Scapular Our Lady will save the world!

In the visions of the Holy Family and St Joseph we find the Joyful mysteries; the Sorrowful mysteries are represented by the vision of Our Lord and Our Lady of Sorrows; and the Glorious mysteries are represented in the vision of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel.

When the visions had disappeared and the sun was again normal, Lucy was placed on the shoulder of a man in the crowd and carried safely through the masses to the road. As she was moving past the people, she cried out to them, pleading one of the important themes in the Fatima Message: to convert, return to God and to flee sin. Her exact words were: "Do penance! Do penance! Our Lady wants you to do penance!"

Let us also pray to St. Joseph for
Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI
his baptismal name is Joseph Ratzinger!

Prayer to St. Joseph

Oh, St. Joseph, whose protection is so great, so prompt, so strong, before the throne of God, I place in you all my interests and desires.Oh, St. Joseph, do assist me by your powerful intercession, and obtain for me from your Divine Son all spiritual blessings, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. So that, having engaged here below your heavenly power, I may offer my thanksgiving and homage to the most Loving of Fathers. Oh, St. Joseph, I never weary contemplating you and Jesus asleep in your arms; I dare not approach while He reposes near your heart. Press Him in my name and kiss His fine Head for me and  Ask Him to return the Kiss when I draw my dying breath. St. Joseph, Patron of departed souls - pray for me that I may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

The above prayer was found in the fiftieth year of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In 1505 it was sent from the Pope to Emperor Charles, when he was going into battle. Whoever shall read this prayer or hear it, or keep it about themselves, shall never die a sudden death or be drowned, nor shall poison take effect on them; neither shall they fall into the hands of the enemy, or shall be burned in any fire or shall be overpowered in any battle. Say for nine mornings in a row for anything you may desire. It has never been known to fail. Back of prayer card Imprimatur: September 25, 1950 Hugh C. Boyle, Bishop of Pittsburgh.

  Efficacious Prayer to St. Joseph
Glorious St. Joseph, model of all who are devoted to labor, obtain for me the grace to work in the spirit of penance in expiation of my many sins; to work conscientiously by placing  duty above my inclinations; to gratefully and joyously deem it an honor to employ and to develop by my labor the gifts I have received from almighty God.  To work peacefully, and in moderation and patience, without ever shrinking through weariness or difficulty. To work above all, with purity of intention, having unceasingly before my eyes the hour of my death and the account I have to render to God of time lost, talents unused, of good not done, and my empty pride in success, so baneful to the work of God. All for Jesus, all for Mary, all to imitate thee, O patriarch St. Joseph! This shall be my motto for life and eternity." - Pope Pius IX

St. Teresa of Avila and her
devotion to St. Joseph

"I took for my advocate and lord the glorious Saint Joseph and commended myself earnestly to him; and I found that this my father and lord delivered me both from this trouble and also from other and greater troubles concerning my honor and the loss of my soul, and that he gave me greater blessings than I could ask of him. I do not remember even now that I have ever asked anything of him which he has failed to grant. I am astonished at the great favors which God has bestowed on me through this blessed saint, and at the perils from which He has freed me, both in body and in soul. To other saints the Lord seems to have given grace to succor us in some of our necessities but of this glorious saint my experience is that he succors us in them all and that the Lord wishes to teach us that as He was Himself subject to him on earth (for, being His guardian and being called His father, he could command Him) just so in Heaven He still does all that he asks. This has also been the experience of other persons whom I have advised to commend themselves to him; and even to-day there are many who have great devotion to him through having experienced this truth."
From "The Autobiography of St. Teresa", chapter 6...

"What great advantages come from commending yourself to this glorious patriarch and having devotion to him. Those who practice prayer should have a special affection for him always. Anyone who cannot find a director to teach prayer should take this glorious saint for his master, and he will not go astray"   The Autobiography of St. Teresa
"I wish I could persuade everyone to be devoted to this glorious saint, for I have great experience of the blessings which he can obtain from God. I have never known anyone to be truly devoted to him and render him particular services who did not notably advance in virtue, for he gives very real help to souls who commend themselves to him. For some years now, I think, I have made some request of him every year on his festival and I have always had it granted. If my petition is in any way ill directed, he directs it aright for my greater good." The Autobiography of St. Teresa

Following the directives of  St. Theresa of Avilia as a Marian Catechist and secular Carmelite living in the world I have turned to St. Joseph in all my needs. He has answered many prayers in desperate moments that have arisen over the years and I wish to thank him today on his Feast for the many graces and blessings he has obtained for me spiritual and temporal. I am grateful to him and await the delayed mercies I have placed in his fatherly care!

Persevere with the above prayers or any prayer to this saint so close to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary for yourselves your families and the needs of the universal church in this battle we are presently engaged against the powers of darkness. St Joseph Ora pro Nobis

History of Devotion to the Holy Face an early revelation concerning Communism-A sister devotion to Fatima Message!

Devotion to the Holy Face was an early revelation from heaven concerning Communism and was the Divine medicine given by God for the time (1800s) to help defeat it. It is, therefore, the sister-devotion to the Fatima devotion – necessary to save the world. There are many people who say that the present “collapse” of Communism is a deception, and that these devotions are needed now more than ever before.

THE NEGLECT OF THIS DEVOTION
TO THE HOLY FACE AND OF
OUR LADY’S REQUESTS AT FATIMA IN 1917, ESPECIALLY THE DAILY ROSARY,
was followed by two world wars, the murder and enslavement of billions of people by Communism, and an unprecedented increase in sin and loss of the faith.

THE HOLY FACE OF JESUS
A copy of the miraculous image on Veronica’s veil.
(The actual veil is kept in St. Peter’s Basilica, Rome.)

This Catholic Devotion is rooted in the representation of the face of Christ said to have been left on a veil used by a holy woman in tradition called Veronica. She is depicted in the 6th station of the cross: Veronica wipes the face of Jesus. Our Lord was moved at this act of compassion and left the imprint of his adorable face on her veil

Sister Marie of St Pete with the Golden Arrow.
The three rings symbolize the Holy Trinity

The devotion had its beginings in Tours, France around 1840, when a young Carmelite nun, named Sr. Mary of St Peter, received a series of revelations from Our  Lord about a powerful devotion He wished to be established worldwide-----the devotion to His Holy Face. The express purpose of this devotion was to make reparation for the blasphemies and outrages of  "Revolutionary men" [the Communists] through whom God is allowing the world to be chastised for its unbelief. Also reparation for the blasphemies of atheists and freethinkers and others, plus, for blasphemy and the profanation of Sundays by Christians.   An Archconfraternity of the Holy Face was finally established in Tours, France, in 1884; and its members make reparation for the blasphemies hurled at Christ.

In 1846, Sr Mary of St Peter was still receiving revelations
on the Holy Face from our Lord when Our Lady appeared in LaSalette, France.
In 1846 Sr Mary of St Peter was still receiving revelations on the Holy Face when Our Lady came to LaSalette in France.  She stated the very same concerns that Our Lord told to Sr. Mary of St. Peter in Tours France. Namely  that she could no longer hold the arm of her son back from chastising humanity because  of  the profanation of Sundays and taking the Lord’s name in vain.  I gave you six days to work, I kept the seventh for myself, and no one wishes to grant it to me. This is what weighs down the arm of my Son so much. Those who drive carts cannot speak without putting the name of my Son in the middle. These are the two things which weigh down the arm of my Son so much.

Our Lady weeping while sitting on a rock
representing the rock of Peter the church

She also foretold future calamities concerning society, from 1846 when the message was first given to the coming of the Antichrist. All in consequence for the lapse of Catholic's in the practice of the faith!  Looking also towards a time after the Fatima Message and the apperance of the antichrist.  The secrets given the children of LaSalette are called today "Our Lady's Apocalypse" At the time the church did not accept the messages of Melanie to hard to accept at the time. But today after the scandals and betrayls by the clergy we see the message is for our day. The cause for Melanie has been introduced at Rome.

The Virgin Mary at LaSallette predicted that the harvest would completely fail. In December 1846, most of the popular crops were disease stricken, and in 1847 a famine hit Europe which resulted in the loss of approximately one million lives, including one hundred thousand in France alone. Cholera became prevalent in various parts of France and claimed the lives of many children. The demise of the Second French Republic with the Franco-Prussian War (1870–1871) and the communist uprising of the Paris Commune of 1871 were also predicted.

Concerning the Church, Our Lady at LaSallatte predicted that Catholic faith in France and the world, within the civilian population as in the Catholic hierarchy of priests and bishops would diminish greatly because of many sinful acts from laity and clergy. Wars and tribulations would occur if mankind did not repent, and the total destruction of the cities of Paris and Marseille would occur near the end. France the eldest daughter of the church! At Fatima Our Lady predicted the annihilation of many nations

Humanity was warned, through the secret message delivered to Mélanie, for the coming of the Antichrist and the end of times. To Maximin, she supposedly predicted the conversion of England in the final phase of the apocalypse!   The message has so much bearing for this time I provide a link for it to be read in its entirety!

                                                                                                                                                                        In addition, a devout and pious nun, around 1936 Sr. Pierina, who died in 1945, was given many visions through Our Blessed Lady who appeared to her, as did Our Lord Jesus. They urged her to make reparation for the many insults Jesus suffered in His Passion, to his holy face such as to be slapped, spit upon and kissed by Judas, as well as now being dishonored in many ways in the Blessed Sacrament by neglect, sacrileges, and profanations. “I will that My Face, which reflects the intimate pains of My Spirit, the suffering and the love of My Heart, be more honored. He who meditates upon Me, consoles Me”“Every time my Face is contemplated I will pour out my love into the heart of those persons, and by means of my Holy Face the salvation of many souls will be obtained”. She further reported that Jesus wanted a special Feast on the day before Ash Wednesday in honor of His Holy Face, to be preceded by a Novena (9 days) of prayers.

She was given a medal which on one side bore a replica of the Holy Shroud and the inscription: "Illumina, Domine, vultum tuum super nos." [O Lord, the light of Thy countenance shine upon us.] On the reverse side was a radiant host with the words: "Mane nobiscum, Domine." [Stay with us, O Lord.] After great difficulties, Sr. Pierina obtained permission to have the medal cast. Even the expenses for the casting were miraculously met when she found on her desk an envelope with the exact amount of the bill-----11,200 lire.  The Evil Spirit showed his chagrin and rage at the medals by flinging them down and burning the pictures of the Sacred Face, and beating the nun savagely.

The devotion to the Holy Face given in 1840s  was to have the

REPARATION FOR THE PROFANATION OF SUNDAY and Holy Days.
  These are the principal sins which in modern times are provoking the anger of God.

Sr. Mary of St. Peter wrote that “Our Lord then made me see that this frightful sin wounds His Divine Heart more grievously than all other sins, showing me how by BLASPHEMY the sinner curses Him to His Face, attacks Him publicly, nullifies His Redemption, and pronounces his own judgment and condemnation…

The Savior made me understand that His justice was greatly irritated against mankind for its sins but particularly for those that directly outrage the Majesty of God – that is, Communism, Atheism, cursing, and the desecration of Sundays and the Holy Days. He said, “The executioners crucified me on Friday, CHRISTIANS CRUCIFY ME ON SUNDAY”.

THIS ASSOCIATION of the devotion to the Holy Face
IS TO BE CALLED “DEFENDERS OF THE HOLY NAME OF GOD”.

·        …Each day, in a spirit of REPARATION, members are to say one Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be To The Father, and the “Golden Arrow” prayer. On Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation ALL the prayers of reparation are to be said.
·        Members must refrain from work on Sundays themselves, and do what is in their power to see that others stop all unnecessary servile work on the holy days of the Lord.
·        …Members should wear a special cross with the words “Blessed be the Name of God”, on one side, and “Begone Satan!” on the reverse, which gives a special resourcefulness to conquer the demon of blasphemy.
·        Every time one hears a curse he should repeat the two short inscriptions on each side of the cross, and he will thus overcome the evil one, and render glory to God.

This devotion is also an instrument given to the individual devotee as a seemingly unfailing method of appealing to God in prayer-----through adoration of His Holy Face and Name. "Just as in an earthly kingdom money which is stamped with the picture of the sovereign or ruling executive of the country procures whatever one desires to purchase, so likewise in the Kingdom of Heaven, you shall obtain all that you desire by offering the coin of My precious Humanity which is My adorable Face."

OUR LORD’S REVELATIONS WERE FOLLOWED BY 30 YEARS OF MIRACLES attesting to the truth and power of this devotion. In 1885 Pope Leo XIII, by papal brief, established this devotion as an Archconfraternity; and contrary to custom, immediately established it FOR THE ENTIRE WORLD. It was universally practiced until a few years before World War I  And then our Lord sent his Mother once again. This time to Fatima!

PROMISES OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST
         To Sr. Mary of St. Peter, Carmelite Nun of Tours, France, in favor of those who honor His Holy Face.
1.      By offering My Face to My Eternal Father, nothing will be refused, and the conversion of many sinners will be obtained.
2.      By My Holy Face, they will work wonders, appease the anger of God and draw down mercy on sinners.
3.      All those who honor My Face in a spirit of reparation will by so doing perform the office of the pious Veronica.
4.      According to the care they take in making reparation to My Face, disfigured by blasphemers, so will I take care of their souls which have been disfigured by sin. My Face is the Seal of the Divinity, which has the virtue of reproducing in souls the image of God.
5.      Those who by words, prayers or writing defend My cause in the Work of Reparation, especially My priests, I will defend before My Father, and will give them My Kingdom.
6.      As in a kingdom they can procure all that is desired with a coin stamped with the King’s effigy, so in the Kingdom of Heaven they will obtain all they desire with the precious coin of My Holy Face.
7.      Those who on earth contemplate the wounds of My Face shall in Heaven behold it radiant with glory.
8.      They will receive in their souls a bright and constant irradiation of My Divinity, that by their likeness to My Face they shall shine with particular splendor in Heaven.
9.      I will defend them, I will preserve them and I assure them of Final Perseverance.

1885-1897: This was also the favorite devotion of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus and of the Holy Face.  She has said that the suffering, wounded Face of her dear Jesus was the foundation of all her piety. At the age of twelve, St. Theresa and her whole family registered as members of the Archconfraternity of Reparation to the Holy Face in Tours, France. Pope St. Pius X called St. Theresa “The greatest Saint of modern times”. She was so devoted to this devotion to the Holy Face that she added the title to her name at the time she took the habit. This is why you will often see St. Therese referred to as St. Therese of the Child Jesus "and of the Holy Face" Since St. Therese's devotion to the Holy Face has become known, this devotion has spread worldwide.

         PRAYERS OF REPARATION
TO THE HOLY FACE OF JESUS
As requested by Our Lord Jesus Christ. These prayers are to be said on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation, publicly (if possible), and preferably before the Blessed Sacrament or before the picture of the Holy Face.

Dear Lord, through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, I (we) offer Thee these prayers in reparation for the sins which offend God the most in these modern times – the sins of BLASPHEMY and the PROFANATION OF SUNDAY and Thy Holy Days of Obligation: One Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be To The Father

THE “GOLDEN ARROW” PRAYER
Dictated by Our Lord to Sister Mary of St. Peter

Our Lord gave Sister Mary a short but powerful prayer called' 'The Golden Arrow," by which a person can "shoot directly into the Heart of God" to heal the wounds inflicted on it by the malice of sinners.

May the most holy, most sacred, most adorable, most incomprehensible and unutterable Name of God be always praised, blessed, loved, adored and glorified in Heaven, on earth, and under the earth, by all the creatures of God, and by the Sacred Heart of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar. Amen.

After receiving this prayer, Sister Mary of St. Peter was given a vision in which she saw the Sacred Heart of Jesus delightfully wounded by this “Golden Arrow”, as torrents of graces streamed from it for the conversion of sinners.

     ”The treasure of My Holy Face in itself possesses such tremendous value
that through It ALL the affairs of My household can readily be settled.”
1.   By offering My Face to My Eternal Father, nothing will be refused, and the conversion of many sinners will be obtained.
2.   By My Holy Face, they will work wonders, appease the anger of God and draw down mercy on sinners.
All those who honor My Face in a spirit of reparation will by so doing perform the office of the pious
Veronica.
